Particularly adapted to those who ride in bike parks or do dirt jumping, the agility of the 19/19 allows quick turns and changes of trajectory and their lightness makes it easy to manage the bike. But they do have one flaw: they’re a bit fragile. Factory prioritised lightweight over toughness so they might suffer from jumps, rocks, roots and logs. For serious enduro riding, 21/18 is king. It’s the set that all full size dirt bikes are equipped with. The huge amount of cushioning that the 18” offers allows you to send it on rough terrain and the 21” rolls over obstacles and absorb terrain imperfections while being more stable.
