Common questions about our loyalty program
How do I join the Squad?
It's super simple: as soon as you make your first purchase, you automatically join the Squad as an MTO customer and start earning points right away.
How do I earn points?
You earn the equivalent of your order's price in Squad points (shipping costs don't count).
Basically, you earn the order subtotal in points, minus discounts. Of course, if you pay with your Squad points, the points used for payment are considered part of the subtotal, no cheating here.
In addition, you can earn points through our Referral Program and on your birthday, courtesy of us (a great reason to fill in your birthdate).
Plus, your purchase can earn up to 3x the usual points on special 2x and 3x days (make sure you're subscribed to our newsletter so you don't miss them!).
Finally, when you reach the Thunder level, all your purchases earn double points, no limits!
When are my points credited?
As soon as you place an order, you earn Squad points. Your points are credited to your account when we ship your items. So, no worries if you don't see your new balance immediately after placing an order.
Where can I find my balance and Squad level?
Right in your account, under the “My Loyalty Program” tab.
How do I use my points?
Once your MTO Squad points balance reaches 250 points, you can use it to pay for items you buy on the site. To use your balance, you need to be logged into your account when shopping (we're not magicians 🪄, we need to know it's you).
If you have enough points, you'll see a message on the cart page – just below the total – asking if you want to use your Squad points for the order.
How long are my points valid?
All points you earn from an order are valid for a period of 6 months. Points you earn from a referral or that we give you for your birthday are valid for 30 days.
There's only one Squad points balance, so if you earn 1000 points from an order but already had points expiring in 2 days, your total balance is now valid for 6 months 🤘
What happens to my points when I return an item?
As you probably already know, it’s possible to change your mind. If you return certain items, we update your new balance based on what you returned. Of course, if you only return a single item out of several in an order, you keep most of the points you earned from that order. A debt paid is a friend kept 🤝
How do I reach the Storm level?
The Storm level is the first level when you join the Squad. It's the level you reach as a new customer, welcome aboard 🤗
How do I reach the Lightning level?
The Lightning level is reached after 5 orders. After your fifth order, you get all the benefits that come with the Lightning level (like birthday points as a gift 🎁).

The Storm level is the first level when you join the Squad. It's the level you reach as a new customer, welcome aboard 🤗
