If you have ever had to push your Light Bee because of a belt rupture, you're probably in the right place!

The Chain Kit replaces the belt and pulleys by a chain drive and two sprockets. It brings a huge improvement in two ways:

  • it is way more robust than a belt, especially in sandy or muddy conditions,
  • it is more efficient than a belt as it has a smaller contact surface and a lower coeficient of friction.

The Sur Ron Light Bee Primary Chain Kit is composed hardened steel 13T motor sprocket and 30T reduction shaft sprocket with a precut DID chain. The 13T/30T combination preserves the original gear ratio.

In addition, changing a chain is way easier than a belt replacement as there is no need to remove the swingarm.
