Overview

Transmitting the power from the motor to the wheel, the primary transmission shaft pulley of the Sur Ron Light Bee is an essential component of your bike.

The pulley wears off over time and when its teeth are worn or damaged, it's time for a change.

A worn pulley increases the risk of belt slippage, rupture and premature wear. A broken belt means having to push the bike home, not exactly the coolest memory you'd want with your Light Bee ride!

Does the job but teeth wore quick

Swapped this primary drive shaft pulley on my Light Bee after noticing slippage on some gnarly climbs. Transmits power solid at first, no drama from motor to wheel. But damn, teeth started wearing after 200km of mixed trail torque — belt was skipping under hard pulls. Fixed the issue, but wish it held up longer in the mud. Still, better than pushing home. Worth grabbing if yours is toast.

Review:

Solid fix for slippage woes

Worn out pulley on my Light Bee was causing mad belt slip in the mud—nearly snapped it on a techy enduro run. Swapped this primary drive shaft pulley, teeth grip like a beast now, no more slippage under torque. Install was straightforward but watch the alignment or you'll chew the belt faster. Handles the power transfer smooth, saved my ass from pushing home. Worth the coin for any trail ripper.
