For the tough guys, the senders, the heavy hitters and power lovers. We made a swingarm that fully brings your bike into the dirtbike category.

Handling torque and power transmission as well as suspension cinematic, the swingarm is key to a motorbike.

Whether you're a dirt jumper, an enduro addict, a Supermoto warrior or an MX ninja, the factory Sur Ron Light Bee swingarm – designed for stock power and rolling parts – is too fragile and has too much flex for serious riding.

Most of the higher powered bikes end up with a cracked or broken swingarm. In fact, it wasn't meant to handle the huge torque delivered by the power-upgraded bikes. This is why we developed our own Light Bee Swingarm.

Entirely CNC made from aviation-grade 6061-T6 Aluminium, the Racing Swingarm for Sur Ron Light Bee improves robustness & rigidity for better terrain feedback and higher resistance to hits and torque. Long story short, our Swingarm brings the MX look and strength to your Light Bee.

Featuring a slightly longer wheelbase than the stock arm, the Racing Swingarm allows for an improved stability without compromising the bike's agility. It has an added 20 mm total length and only requires a two chain-link addition at the shorter wheel position.

In addition to that, working with prime quality 6061 Aluminium combined with the 5-axis CNC machining process, allows us to deliver a swingarm that's almost the same weight as the original. At 2,5kg on the scale, it's merely 500g heavier than the factory version.

Technical details

Alloy 6061-T6 aviation grade aluminium
Bearings premium NSK bearings
Assembly M8 x 30 mm Titanium bolts
Length 500 mm (20 mm longer than stock)
Weight 2,5kg (500g heavier than stock)
Colour anodized colour finish
Compatibility plug and play with all Sur Ron Light Bees

Please note that due to the wider frame, we cannot ensure compatibility with all aftermarket linkages. We guarantee full compatibility with W9 V3 linkage both 0.75" and 0.0" rise.

NB: you will need the swingarm removal tool to unscrew the swingarm's nut.

Rider's questions

When will you be making the changes for the chain protector and the mud guard or would it be possible for me to try attempt to mount them my self using a riv nut for a example ?? 1 Answer

It's probably gonna take some time as I need to finish the design, have it machined and try it. Some customers have fitted KTM 65 ones on the current swingarm. They had welded a small mounting adaptor.

I saw a question asked about a chain guide, and I wanted to express my interested for it as well. There is not many chain guide solutions for LBX and riding hard enduro I have lost the chain many times in rock gardens. Would be an amazing addition, as I plan to buy this swing arm this spring. Has there been more talk of implementing a chain guide? 0 Answers

How much more chain slap are you getting. Because the Apollo RFN has a very similar swing arm and it leads to a very flexible ride in the back like your always riding on a flat back tire and makes a bunch of clickidie clackadie sounds down the trail. All due to the longer swing arm and chain slapping. 1 Answer

The chain doesn't get more slap than with the stock swingarm. Properly tensioned it doesn't get much play and stays at bay while riding.

Does the swing arm have an attachment for a chain guide for the sprocket on the rear wheel? Unfortunately there is no swing arm like this on the market and it makes sense especially for enduro riding 1 Answer

It doesn't have it as of yet but it is something we're considering for the future.

What max rear wheel size ist mountable ? 1 Answer

Hey Lars, if you're asking about tyre width, no real change from the stock swingarm as large tyres are rubbing against the chain (and we cannot change its position).

A Quality Piece, Well-Executed, But Not Quite Perfect Yet.

Overall, I'm extremely happy with this product. The rigidity of the swingarm is a world apart from the original on my bike, and you can really feel the difference when riding. The bike is much more responsive in corners – that's where you realize just how much flex there was in the stock arm for serious builds and heavier wheels. The machining quality is truly beautiful, and the assembly is flawless. It's a really great piece. I am encountering some issues due to my wheel setup, which fit the original arm in a 21x18 configuration, specifically with the rear wheel and a 100/100 18 Michelin Tracker tire. It's too high and won't fit, and I'm maxed out on chain tension adjustment to even attempt installation. I want to thank Quentin for his quick response and for recommending a more suitable tire for this swingarm, the CST c755 in 3.5", which should resolve the problem. In reality, 99% of 18" tires for Sur-Ron will fit this swingarm; it's just that my 100/100 tire is a bit of an outlier for a Sur-Ron, to be honest, but it did fit the original arm. Another thing that bothers me is the lack of a mudguard or fender to protect the shock and motor. Right now, with the really muddy conditions, it's a nightmare. I'll need to find a solution, and I'll probably have to get creative with some 3D printing to compensate for this shortcoming. All in all, it's an excellent product that I highly recommend. I didn't wait for my original swingarm to crack before upgrading, and I don't regret it at all. Happy riding!

Hey Bruno, thanks so much for this really helpful review! You're one of our first customers for this custom-built part, and naturally, there's always room for improvement. Regarding the mudguard, I use the Sur-Ron mudguard and attach it at the bottom with Serflex straps. It's not the most stylish, but it definitely gets the job done!

Amazing, the feeling of a motorbike in a Light Bee!

On my 20kW setup with 21/18 tires, I could feel the stock swingarm twisting all over the place. It was also impossible to put the power down without the front end lifting into a wheelie. With the moto swingarm, the change is truly impressive. The bike is so much more stable, I can feel my 18-inch wheel pushing forward without the swingarm flexing. In technical and steep climbs, I can finally get the power down and avoid being thrown backwards like with the stock swingarm. I've set the rear wheel pretty far back, so I have a wheelbase of 1320mm. The bike is a little less playful, but significantly more stable, my Ext suspension works better, I'm more comfortable climbing big steps, and I have a much higher speed through singletrack thanks to the stability, rigidity, and the fact that I can open the throttle wider while keeping the front wheel planted. In a single word: Wow 🤩

Changes Everything....

A really awesome part, high-quality bearings! The added stiffness completely transforms the handling. The extra 25mm provide incredible stability at high speeds. Perfect fit! One minor thing: I added a chain guide underneath towards the front because with the stock 14/48 gearing, the chain was hitting the swingarm on jump landings. Enjoy the ride!

This swingarm is a game changer! Excellent quality, robust feel when using a heavier rear wheel. Good price/quality ratio compared to other manufacturers! A must-have upgrade for your Talaria Sting, Sur-Ron Light Bee, or Sur-Ron Ultra Bee.
