Overview

The Light Bee uses an RCPROPLUS DC6 discharge connector plug. The MTO connector is a drop in replacement specifically designed for the Light Bee.

While retaining full compatibility with the stock connector, we managed to improve the current flow by more than 20%, reducing heat generation and improving power efficiency.

Last but not least, these connectors are very easy to solder, either with an iron or a soldering torch. A 9 year old without prior experience could do it (under parental supervision of course 😉).

This is the discharge connector on the bike (controller) side, each package contains a set of 2 connectors with 4 metal bullets, leaving you with a spare one just in case.

The connectors are rated for 200A continuous and 300A peak current (30 seconds).

Great Connector, Hard to Find, Highly Recommend!

Just needs a bit more explanation on the assembly for us newbies like me: 1) Solder the wires onto the ferrules. 2) Slide the wires into the connector, feeding them in from the ferrule side (the wire goes *through* the connector first). 3) Lock the ferrules – by pushing/compressing them, they'll sink in another 2mm and lock into place. ⚠️ Don't let the solder overflow the diameter of the ferrules, or the locking collars won't seat properly in the connector, risking them popping off when unplugging!

Strong

Good product, you need to solder the connectors so it's not an easy fit, must be careful not to damage the wires.
